Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
SOIL AND GROUNDWATER DISPOSAL
16 SOUTH CHEROKEE LANE
LODI, CALIFORNIA
SITE CODE 2065
Dear Ms. Ratliff:
PES Environmental, Inc. (PES) is pleased to present this letter providing Geweke Land
Development and Management's (GLDM's) proposal for disposal of soil and
groundwater generated during site investigation activity in May and June of this year.
GLDM proposes to dispose of the soil by spreading it on the ground at 1130 Beckman
Road, in Lodi. It is the location of a future GLDM-owned Toyota dealership. The soils
will be spread on the surface which will be paved with asphalt when the dealership is
constructed. All of the soil generated during the investigation had non-detectable
concentrations of total petroleum hydrocarbons. The only compound detected was
toluene at 6 parts per billion in one soil sample from MW-10. The presence of toluene
at this low concentration may be the result of sample handling procedures. Analytical
results for all soil samples collected during the investigation are presented in the attached
table.
GLDM proposes that the groundwater be stored onsite until a groundwater treatment
system is installed, permitted and operational. At that time, the water will be run
through the treatment system and disposed under the NPDES, sanitary sewer discharge
or reinjection permit.
P.O.
