This <br /> letter summarizes the items that were discussed at the meeting, for further <br /> details see the enclosed memorandum. <br /> The main issuediscussed was whether the contaminants found at Geweke Lot Is <br /> from, an outside source. B&C wants to further investigate the source. In our <br /> judgement, however, the old pump island and underground tanks are the source of <br /> the soil and ground water contamination at the Geweke Lot and that some action <br /> to cleanup and control the contaminants needs to be taken. B&C will discuss <br /> with Geweke their options and submit a letter, no later than 12 December 1986, <br /> telling us whether there will be further investigation followed by cleanup <br /> action or whether cleanup action will start immediately. <br /> Another item discussed was the possibility that the existing monitoring wells <br /> may not be usable since the lot and wells were paved over by Geweke' s <br /> contractor.
