. CLEANUP AND ABATEMENT ORDER NO. 93-XXX - 4 - <br /> GEWEKE LAND DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> I <br /> d. Notify Board and San Joaquin County Division of Environmental Health <br /> staffs within 24 hours of any unapproved shutdown of the remediation <br /> system[s] and within 7 working days, submit a Technical Report <br /> containing as a minimum, but not limited to: <br /> (1) Times and dates equipment was not operating; <br /> (2) Cause of shutdown; and <br /> (3) A corrective action plan to ensure similar shutdowns do not . <br /> reoccur, proposed corrective actions are to be completed <br /> within 30 days of the system shutdown. <br /> e. Ensure that the ground water extraction system[s] "zone of capture" O <br /> completely envelops and controls the contamination plume(s] (lines <br /> of zero contamination in all water bearing zones) . If ground water <br /> monitoring and sampling results indicate that any part of the <br /> contamination plume[s] is not within the zone of capture, the <br /> Dischargers shall resample the following month. If contamination is <br />. confirmed, the Dischargers shall submit within 30 days of receiving Q <br /> the sample results a Contingency Plan to Mitigate the condition. <br /> The proposed actions shall be completed within 60 days of submitting <br /> the Contingency Plan (or' longer as approved by the Executive <br /> Officer) . <br /> f. Maintain a sufficient number of monitoring wells to completely <br /> define and encompass the contamination plume[s] (lines of zero <br /> contamination in all water bearing zones) . If ground water sampling <br /> results indicate that contamination has migrated to or past any of <br /> the outermost or deepest monitoring wells, the Dischargers shall <br /> resample the following month. If contamination is confirmed, the <br /> Dischargers shall submit within 30 days of receiving the sample <br /> results, a work plan for installing additional monitoring wells. <br /> The additional wells shall be installed and sampled within 60 days <br /> of submitting the work plan (or longer as approved by the Executive <br /> Officer) . <br /> g. Maintain an on-site log of all visits to the remediation systems] <br /> by the Dischargers or their agents. The log shall be available for <br /> review by Board and County staffs. <br /> h. Notify Board and County staffs at least two working days prior to <br /> any on-site work, testing, or sampling. <br /> i . Obtain all local and state permits necessary to fulfill the <br />�l requirements of this order prior to beginning work. <br />
