Based on these
measurements, the groundwater flow direction was determined
to be in a Southeasterly direction. A Kriging program was
used to generate a groundwater flow direction map, which has
been included as Figure 3 .
TABLE 8
GROUND WATER ELEVATION MEASUREIKNTS
(1-24-92)
Reference Point Depth To Groundwater
Date Well Elevations Water Elevation
1-24-92 MW-6 52. 99' 57.00' -4 .01'
1-24-92 MW-7 53. 90' 58.46' -4 .56'
' 1-24-92 MW-8 53 . 68' 58. 26' -4 .58'
1-24-92 MW-9 53 . 54 ' 58. 22' -4 . 68'
1-24-92 MW-10 53 . 21' 57.43' -4 . 22'
1-24-92 MW-11 52. 95' 57.87' -4.92'
' 1-24-92 NW-12 53. 35' 58.74' -5. 39'
1-24-92 NW-13 53. 36' 58.86' -5.50'
1-24-92 EW-1 53. 21' 57.68' -4.47'
' 4.0 QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL
All groundwater sampling equipment was thoroughly steam-
cleaned in a TSP solution prior to the commencement of
sampling. These procedures were also followed between each
well, and at the end of the sampling day.
1
STE Project No. 4001
Page 6
