CLEAN ENVIRONMENT ENGINEERS, INC.
SOS AUTON MP
COST/PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGE
' SOS Auto Pumps have internal controls and therefore require no surface
controls. This results in less direct capital costs and also equates
directly to lower operating costs, based on ease of operation and
' reduced compressed air usage.
• No air is blown through the fluid line. Since the Auto Pumps are
' not timer dependent, air is not blown out of the fluid discharge. This
keeps air use, emulsification, oxygen-driven deposits and the chance
of electrostatic build-up, at a minimum.
' There are no bubbler sensors with the Auto Pumps and therefore no
commensurate hose to set or meters to worry about, resulting in lower
' capital and operating costs. No bubbler means that they can operate
with a vacuum on the well.
' • SOS Auto Pumps are "Timer-Free." A technician need not adjust
timers and then wait to observe the effect of the adjustment on the
pump's performance. Therefore there is less training and maintenance
involved.
• Use of the Auto Pumps results in significantly less air consumption,
since the units consume air on demand only. The air hoses remain
pressurized to the pumps at all times. Systems which rely on timers
pressurize and depressurize the air hoses for each pump stroke. Air
' compressor power consumption has been shown to be substantially
reduced and thus savings can be meaningful when many wells and
many sites are taken into consideration.
• SOS Auto Pumps are lightweight and can be serviced easily by semi-
skilled workers. Thus, they can be moved from well to well and site to
site easily.
• SOS Auto Pumps can be teed from a continuous air line without
' regard to mounting controls or additional filters and regulators.
• Since the controls are inside the pump and the pump is submerged in
' the well, there is far less chance for freezing weather to effect
the pumps.
• SOS Auto Pumps can pass oil, water and even small dirt
particles in the air line without damage or down time to the pump, so
there is less maintenance. Dirty air is the bane of timer-driven pumps.
• Only high-grade, industrial, color coded hoses are used, and in
conjunction with no-mix quick connect fittings, result in a user friendly
system that can be snapped together by a novice.
1
