INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the request of Geweke Land Development & Marketing (GLDM), and in accordance with <br /> Cleanup and Abatement Order No 93-701,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared <br /> this report of environmental activities performed at 16 South Cherokee Lane,Lodi,California dunng <br /> the fourth`quarter of 2002 The scope of work Includes the installation of five ground water <br /> monitoring wells and the quarterly ground water momtonng event The site and its surroundings are <br /> illustrated on Figure 1 Monitoring well and boring locations related to the site are shown on <br /> Figures 1 and 2 <br /> Results of previous investigations are detailed in the Problem Assessment Report (PAR), the <br /> Quarterly Report-March 1996 and the Quarterly Report-March and June 1999 Analytical results <br /> for ground water samples from previous monitonng events are included in Table 3 of this report <br /> 2 0. PROCEDURES <br /> Five ground water monitoring wells were installed and twenty on-and off-site monitoring wells were <br /> purged and sampled in December 2002 Field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)guidelines for sampling ground water monitoring <br /> wells and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for <br /> investigations of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 21 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION, DEVELOPMENT AND SURVEY <br /> Two ground water monitoring well clusters, MW-15 through MW-17 and MW-18 and MW-19 <br /> (Figure 2),were installed between 15 and 19 December 2002 to venfy the vertical and lateral extent <br /> of contamination in three hydrologic zones (HUs) identified in the AGE-prepared Cone <br /> Penetrometer TestingReport-December 2001,dated 19 February 2002(Figure 3),well MW-16 was <br /> completed in 14U 1, wells MW-15 and MW-19 were completed in HU2 and wells MW-17 and <br /> MW-18 were completed in HU3 The wells were developed on 27 December 2002 and surveyed on <br /> 13 January 2003 <br /> 2 1 1 Dnlling and Sampling <br /> The pilot borings for monitoring wells MW-15 through MW-19 were advanced using a CME-75HT <br /> . dnll rig, equipped with 8 25-inch diameter hollow-stem augers The dnll ng and three-man crew <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
