u
April 22, 1987 AGS 8691-6
Beacon Service Station #1-502 - Lodi, California
Applied GeoSystems recommends that the ground water contamination
be mitigated by withdrawal and discharge to the sanitary sewer
system. Soil contamination should be mitigated through
installation and operation of a soil . venting system, using wells
completed in the vadose zone and installed within the tank
cavity. Operation of a soil leaching system may tend to increase
the levels of contamination present in the ground water,
inhibiting the effects of the ground water mitigation program.
Copies of this report should be forwarded to Laurie Cotulla, of
the San Joaquin Local Health District, and to Stephen Boll, of
the Central Valley Region of the California Regional water
Quality Control board.
