Soil Before Results are from BS at 30 feet below surface grade except MTBE which is from
chromatogram review of soil from SB26 at 85.5 feet below grade. Soil in old and new tank areas was removed to 25 feet
below grade. No other corrective action has been performed. Borings completed after excavation of soil documented
extensive soil contamination. Groundwater was never encountered in any of the soil borings, the deepest of which was 115
feet below surface grade. A groundwater investigation was not conducted with the installation of monitoring wells. The
drinking water well on site was sampled and all contaminants analyzed for were non-detect. Area is known to have artesian
wells. Once groundwater is penetrated, the water level rises in the well.
IV.
