Soil Before Results are from BS at 30 feet below surface grade except MTBE which is from <br /> chromatogram review of soil from SB26 at 85.5 feet below grade. Soil in old and new tank areas was removed to 25 feet <br /> below grade. No other corrective action has been performed. Borings completed after excavation of soil documented <br /> extensive soil contamination. Groundwater was never encountered in any of the soil borings, the deepest of which was 115 <br /> feet below surface grade. A groundwater investigation was not conducted with the installation of monitoring wells. The <br /> drinking water well on site was sampled and all contaminants analyzed for were non-detect. Area is known to have artesian <br /> wells. Once groundwater is penetrated, the water level rises in the well. <br /> IV.
