At the request of ARCO, Dillard Trucking Inc. of Byron, <br /> California, transported the drill cuttings generated during the May 1990 drilling event on <br /> July 17, 1990, and disposed of the soil at liquid Waste Management, Inc. in McKittrick, <br /> California. At ARCO's request,Aronson Excavating and Hauling of Elk Grove,California, <br /> hauled the drill cuttings generated during the October.1990 drilling event to Sacramento <br /> q City Landfill on November 22, 1990. ' <br /> Labo, _atoM Analyses <br /> Selected soil samples were collected at approximately 5-foot intervals from each boring an <br /> submitted to the laboratory. Soil samples submitted for analysis from borings B-1 through <br /> B-3 were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) and as diesel <br /> i" (TPHd) using preparation Method 5030 and modified Environmental Protection Agency <br /> (EPA) Method 8015, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylene isomers (BTEX) <br /> using EPA Method 8020, wid total oil and grease (TOG) using Standard Method 503e. <br /> Additionally, the samples collected from borings B-1 through B-3 were analyzed for the <br /> E� <br /> metals cadmium, chromium, lead, and zinc, volatile organic compounds (VOC), and base <br /> neutrals and acids with open scan for creosote using EPA Method 8270. Samples <br /> designated with an asterisk on Tables 1 and 2 were submitted to the laboratory after their <br /> holding time expired. <br /> Soil samples submitted for analyses from borings B-4 through B-8 were analyzed for TPHX <br /> using EPA extraction Method 5030 and analyzed by modified EPA Method 8015 and BTE <br /> s <br /> using EPA Method 8020. The composite soil sample from the soil pile was also analyzed <br /> for TPHg and BTEX. <br /> 6 <br /> Awp/red GeOSystems <br />
