Analyses for TPlid and TOG were requested only on soil samples collected from borings B-I to 13-3 (drilled near the waste-oil tank cavity) to evaluate the extent of waste oil in soil. Due to laboratory error, soil sample 5-25-BI was analyzed for TPHg, TPHd, and BTEX after its holding lime had expired. 9 Results of analyses indicate TPHg was present in samples collected at 25 and 35 feet below grade in borings B-1 (5-25-Bi and 5-35-1) and B2 (5-25-132 and 5-35-132) and in samples collected at IS and 25 feet in boring B-3 (5-I5-B3 and 5-2.5-133). TPHg concentrations ranged from 3,6 to 5,500 parts per million (ppm). Concentrations of benzene were below detection limits in samples from borings B-1 through U-3. Toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylene isomers concentrations ranged from below detection limits to 110 ppm. 'iTIJd was detected at 4,300 ppm in the sample collected at 25 feet in boring B-1 (S-25-111). Results as indicated TIlld was below detection limits in the soil samples collect(-,d at 15 feet below grade in borings B-2 and B-3. Results of analyses indicate TOG was detected in soil samples 5-10-111. 5-20-111. 5-10-132, and S-10-B3 (Table 1).
