NO: 209-583-5571 <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Ultramar purchased site from Conoco in July 1990, Several <br /> ground-water monitoring wells had been installed by Conoco <br /> (formerly Kayo Ail Company) at and- near the site. At the time <br /> of site purchase, all but six wells (RW-1, Mei-16, MW-18, <br /> I 3 MW-20, MW-21, and MW-25) were dry. <br /> r - <br /> In March 1991, one additional ground-water monitoring/vapor- <br /> extraction well (MW-27) and one vapor-extraction well (VH-26) <br /> were installed as part of the installation of a vapor <br /> extraction system designed and permitted for the site.
