4th Quarter 1992 SUES Report, Beacon Station #695, Lodi <br /> Since the ro inception of the ram in 1991, a significant amount of contamination has <br /> p program <br /> been removed from the subsurface with the program surpassing the 67,700 pounds <br /> extracted mark during the fourth quarter <br /> The system operated 57 days out of a possible 85 days This equates to an operating <br /> efficiency of 67 percent <br /> The concentration of benzene to Total Volatile Hydrocarbons (TVH) averaged at 0 8 <br /> percent for the quarter <br /> II INDIVIDUAL MONITORING EVENTS <br /> 5 October 1992 Monttonng <br /> The system operated continuously since 22 September 92 Monitoring was performed on <br /> system influent, effluent, and extraction points Extraction points with Total Volatile <br /> Hydrocarbon (TVH) concentrations of 100 parts per million volume/volume (ppmv) and <br /> greater were open to system vacuum <br /> The highest benzene emission concentrations for the quarter were measured at 0 07 <br /> lb /day The highest influent removal rate of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPHg) was measured at 238 5 lb /day <br /> 1 20 October 1992 Monitoring <br /> The system operated continuously since 5 October 92 Monitoring was performed on <br /> system influent, effluent, and extraction points Extraction points with TVH <br /> concentrations of 125 ppmv and greater were open to system vacuum, plus two <br /> exceptions which were open below 125 ppmv VP-1 was open at 11 ppmv MW-4 was <br /> open at 75 ppmv These points were opened two lower system vacuum and prevent <br /> motor failure <br /> 30 October 1992 Servicing <br /> The system was down, but operated 8 day since 20 October 1993 The system was not <br /> restarted, because of mechanical problems <br />
