Hydrocarbons were present in the trench to a depth of 20 feet. The low
levels of hydrocarbons found at the depths of 25 and 45 feet in boring SB4 confirm that some
lateral and vertical spreading has occurred to the northwest. However, hydrocarbons were not
detected in groundwater samples collected from any of the borings. Groundwater has not been
impacted.
We recommend evaluating the feasibility of excavating the impacted soil. If the Regional Water
Quality Board concurs, we will prepare a Workplan to address this issue.
Please contact us at your convenience if you have any questions or comments regarding this report.
Sincerely,
Ground Zero Analysis, Inc.
0/
Joseph L.
