The Site is currently used for grape bin storage and minor truck maintenance, but
previously used above-ground storage tanks (ASTs) for truck fueling and servicing, The area of
investigation was impacted soil located beneath he former AST containment area and the
former pump island. Between two excavation events, LTS Rentals removed 8,800 cubic yards
of impacted soil. Approximately 2,400 cubic yards of impacted soil were removed off-site for
landfilling while 6,400 cubic yards of impacted soil were bioremediated on-site and used as
backfill. Discrete sampling confirmed groundwater beneath the Site was not impacted by
hydrocarbons; groundwater monitoring wells were not installed at the Site. As described in the
attached memorandum, Central Valley Water Board staff concurs that remaining levels of
petroleum constituents do not pose a threat to human health, the environment, or waters of the
State.
LTS Rentals has satisfactorily completed Site investigation and remedial action and achieved
applicable remedial action standards and objectives. A permanent remedy has been
accomplished at the Site. Therefore, no further ction is required. Issuance of a No Further
Action Determination does not preclude future a,-tion by the Central Valley Water Board if
subsequent monitoring, testing, or analysis at th a Site indicates that the remedial action
standards and objectives were not achieved; a r ew or previously undiscovered release occurs
at the Site; or new information indicates that furter site investigation and remedial action are
required to prevent a significant risk to human health and safety, the environment, or water
quality.
