For a complete case history, one
should review the files regarding this case at the Central Valley Water Board office, on
GeoTracker(geotracker.waterboards.ca.gov), and at the San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department (SJCEHD). Groundwater monitoring wells were not installed at the site
(i.e., only soil was impacted by the petroleum hI drocarbon release). All record owners of
fee title located within 200 feet of the Site's identified hydrocarbon plume were notified of
the request for closure and were given 30 days to provide comments by 5 April 2012.
Central Valley Water Board staff did not receive any comments regarding case closure.
CURRENT SITE USE
The former LTS Rentals trucking yard is locate immediately west of Highway 99 and south
of Kettleman Lane in Lodi, California (Figure 1). Repo is vary on the number and contents of the
ASTs used; however, at least four 20,000-gallon diesel ASTs and four 10,000-gallon
gasoline ASTs were used. In addition, reports indicate that the ASTs at one time included
motor oil and waste oil storage.
KARL E. LONOLEY SCD, P.E.. CHAIR [ PAMELk C. CREEDON P.E..
