Emergency Shut Off
The Emergency Shut Off switch for the 6000 gal. ConVault hank is located at the rear of the tank on the
security fence within 15 feet of the AST systems, but not less than 25 feet from the fuel dispenser.
Emergency Shut Off switch is located on the Nordleast fence of the fueling operations by the building
which is contiguous to the fueling operations, and is at approximately eye level.
Secondary Containment
ConVault Tank: The 6000 Gallon ConVault Aboveground Storage Tank has integral secondary
containment. As part of its listing from Underwriter's Laboratories, Standard UL 2085
Protected Tanks listing, the system is a primary steel tank vessel which is then surrounded by a
concrete envelope and in between steel and concrete there is a space also known as the
interstice. As this tank has both the primary containment and the secondary containment in one
system, the secondary containment is determined to be "integral secondary containment." The
Underwriter's Laboratories"Nameplate" confirms this information.
Oman Cummins Tank: The 79 Gallon fuel tank for the Onan Cummins Generator System has
integral secondary containment. There was no specific UL nameplate located, but contact with
Cummins in NMwaukee, WL confirmed that the tank is a UL 142 double wall secondary
containment tank, and that the tank is 79 gallons capacity. UL 142 Secondary Containment tanks
have long been recognized as having integral secondary containment, but UL 142 also has single
wall tanks. This system was confirmed as having integral secondary containment by contacting
the manufacturer. The secondary containment for this system is adequate to contain in excess of
1100/.of the primary tank capacity. Additionally, this entire system sits within a concrete berm
which has additional containment of 125 gallons of liquid. This is adequate for the entire
contents of the primary vessel plus freeboard precipitation.
Miscellaneous:
Security fencing is present, serviceable, and of adequate height. All operations, including tank
filling operations, are contained within the secured areas, which is open during regular business
hours. Site personnel have positive control of entry to all locations within this facility.
