y
1645 Cherokee, Stockton
Page 2
Please provide EHD with any information about the site well, cement vault and their
abandonment. In addition, please provide information on any other disposal wells at
your facility and the fluids disposed (i.e. sumps, septic tanks and drainfields, dry wells for
storm water disposal). Following review of all the information submitted, EHD will
determine if the facility should be listed as a UIC site and may request modifications to
wastewater disposal activities at your site.
There were leaking underground storage tanks (UST) at this site and EHD is overseeing
the investigation of that contamination. After the excavation work, monitoring wells are
to be installed. The water samples from the monitoring wells should be analyzed for
Volitile Organic Compounds, using EPA Method 826013, in addition to the suite of
analytes that are to be tested for as part of the-UST investigation. The Volitile Organic
Compound analytical results should be submitted to EHD in a separate report for the
UIC investigation.
If you have any questions contact me at (209) 468-3449.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS
Unit IV
c: Elizabeth Janes, USEPA Ground Water Office WTR-9, 75 Hawthorne Street, San
Francisco, 94105-3901
