A meeting with Mr. Adam Palmer of DTSC in June of 1994 was conducted to discuss <br /> voluntary, cleanup of the site under the walk-in.business program. At the advise of Mr. Palmer, <br /> additional soil sampling of the stockpile was performed on 31 August 1994- for the purpose of <br /> characterizing the stockpiled soil with respect to soluble lead using a deionized water extraction and <br /> California waste extraction test (WET) analysis. A letter-report of this additional sampling was <br /> issued 03 October 1994 by ESE(ESE, 1994). <br /> In October 2002,AGE collected groundwater samples from the large domestic well("Big Well") <br /> located approximately.30 feet south of the excavation area for lead analysis in accordance with EPA <br /> Method 846; lead was not detected in the sample,above.the reporting limit of 10 gg/L (Table 1). <br /> AGE collected another water sample from"Big Well"in February 2003 for BTEX,fuel oxygenates <br /> and halogenated volatile organic-compounds(HVOCs);none of the contaminants ofconcern(COCs) <br /> were detected in analyzed sample. <br /> i <br /> i <br /> Advanced GeoEnviron mental,Inc. <br />
