CECChUNI CECCNINI,AND GIOVANNOM,FUEUNG ISLAND
100 micrograms per liter (ug/l) TPH as gasoline and BTEX were reported as non-detect in
UST-1 Hydrocarbons in the ground water sample from UST-2, UST-3 and the duplicate sample
from UST-2 were reported as non-detect. The ground water sample from UST-4 contained TPH-
G at a concentration of 68 ug/1 and TPH-D at 58 ug/1 The ground water sample from UST-4
also contained toluene at 1.1 ug/1, ethylbenzene at 0 80 ug/1 and xylenes at 5.8 ug/l. Benzene
was reported as not-detected in the ground water sample from UST-4
4.3.2 TIDES CUSSID`N
The aversround water elevation calculated for the site h
average g as increased approximately three feet
relative to that reported for March 1995 (First Quarter 1995) This increase is likely due to
seasonal precipitation Ground water flow direction at the site has generally been to the northeast
in recent quarters This flow direction is similar to regional flow direction interpreted from San
Joaquin County Spring 1994 Ground Water Report Maps (San Joaquin County Flood, 1994) The
less distinct flow pattern observed this quarter may be due to local pumping influences as well as
precipitation factors
BTEX was not detected in ground water from UST-1 this quarter Diesel has continued to
decrease systematically in ground water from UST-1 and is beginning to approach the method
detection limit
Q 4.4 GROOM WATER ER R ECOVIERY (IIN'IC'IEEUM R EME DIIA'I GN)
i
As a result of the continued detectable TPH in well UST-1, interim remediation was initiated for
this site in the Third Quarter of 1993 This quarter Mr Robert Ceechini performed bi-weekly
evacuation of water from Well UST-1 for a period of three months from April through June
1995 He performed the following tasks each visit
a Measured water and product levels in the well UST-1 using an electric water level
sounder and recorded the data
Evacuated approximately 55 gallons of water from well UST-1 approximately eve two
i'Y
weeks using an electric submersible pump The volume of water pumped from the well
was recorded
F 16925400120M95 RPT 6 Environmental Science&Engineenng,Inc
