CECCHIM, CECC BAB.AND GIOVANNOM,FUELING ISLAND <br /> 2e0 E SL RODUCTHO 1 <br /> The following report documents Second Quarter 1995 ground water monitoring activities for the <br /> fueling island area at 3535 East Cherokee Road, Stockton, California (Figure 1 - Vicinity Map) <br /> This work is being done in accordance with ESE Protocol, the guidelines of the San Joaquin <br /> County Health Division (SJCEHD) and the Central Valley Regional Water Qualtity Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) During the Second Quarter, three new monitoring wells were installed around the <br /> fueling island In addition, this report documents interum remediation performed this quarter <br /> 2A 13ACKGI18®UM <br /> One well, designated UST-1, and three new wells designated UST-2, UST-3, and UST-4 are <br /> located in the fueling island area (Figure 2 - Site Map) Well UST-1 had problems with <br /> infiltration of fuel from the surface and its seal was repaired twice in 1993 The latest repair was <br /> made in March 1995 <br /> In October 1992 ESE implemented a quarterly monitoring program that includes the measurement <br /> of ground water elevation and collection of ground water samples from well UST-1 As of July <br /> 1, 1993 the monitoring program also included water level measurements in three additional <br /> ground water monitoring wells (SI-1, SI-2, and SI-3) located in the northern portion of the site <br /> and two water supply wells, "large" well and "small" well (see Figure 2 - Site Map) In an effort <br /> to ascertain the size of the potential hydrocarbon plume at UST-1, three new monitoring wells <br /> were installed at the site on April 4, 1995 <br /> 1.2 WORK P ER FORDWEIID SECOND QUARTER 11995 <br /> The following tasks were performed during the First Quarter of 1995 at the fuel island area <br /> 0 installation of monitoring wells UST-2, UST-3, and UST-4, <br /> a Ground water monitoring and sampling, and <br /> 0 Ground water recovery from UST-1 as an interim remediation measure <br /> F\692540012QM95 RPT 1 Environmental Science do Engineering,Inc <br />
