Toluene was detectable in well UST-1 at concentrations lower than that reported for <br /> November 1993 TPH as gasoline remained nondetectable. Benzene was nondetectable this <br /> quarter compared to 4 ppb last quarter TPH as diesel and ethylbenzene increased slightly <br /> relative to the November data, but are within the same magnitude of concentrations as the <br /> previous quarter <br /> 3 3 GROUND WATER RECOVERY (INTERIM REMEDIATION <br /> As a result of the continued detectable TPH in well UST-1, interim remediation was <br /> initiated for this site in the Third quarter of 1993 This quarter Mr Robert Cecchini <br /> performed bi-weekly evacuation of water from Well UST-1 for a period of three months <br /> from January to March 1994. He performed the following tasks each visit <br /> Measured water and product levels in the well UST-1 using an electric water level <br /> sounder and recorded the data. <br /> Evacuated approximately 55 gallons of water from well UST-1 using an electric <br /> submersible pump The volume of water pumped from the well was recorded <br /> The water evacuated from well UST-1 was stored in DOT rated drums in a secure <br /> area of the site When a sufficient volume of water is accumulated at the site, the <br /> well owners will dispose of the purged water through a licensed recycler <br /> Documents from the interim remediation activity are attached as Appendix C A total of <br /> 330 allons of water was evacuated from well UST-1 from January 12 to March 24, 1994 <br /> F\692S400\igmr94 rpt 6 Environmental Science&Engineering Inc <br />
