April 26, 1988 AGS Job No. 2005-P
Delta Truck Sales, Stockton, California
excavation could be backfilled approximately four to eight weeks
after the initial excavation.
Immediately after backfilling, the ground-water monitoring well
will be installed, developed, and sampled. Results of ground-
water analyses should be available approximately 17 days after
initiation of drilling operations or approximately six to seven
weeks after commencement of field work.
After initial assessment of the character of contamination in the
soil piles, clean material will be returned to the excavation
during backfilling operations. A decision as to the most
appropriate disposal alternative for contaminated soil will be
made approximately 4 weeks after excavation begins. Class I, II,
or III disposal could be implemented immediately thereafter, if
found to be appropriate. Treatment of the soil, if selected as
an alternative, will proceed as soon as possible after approval
and appropriate permits, if any, are acquired from the
appropriate state and local regulatory agencies.
18
A,vviied GeOSvstems
