Well Monitoring Program -2- 26 March 1993
DDRW, Tracy
3. It is unnecessary to monitor for background concentrations of metals in LM-11,
LM-12 and LM-63 because four quarters of data have been collected from these
wells.
In our 11 September 1992 letter, we recommended that only four on-site monitor wells
(LM-3, LM-15, LM-16 and LM-27A) be continued to be sampled and analyzed for
pesticides and metals, as well as for VOCs. The analytical results of the first
four quarters of data yielded concentrations of non-detect for pesticides and metals
in most of the other monitor wells.
We believe that the site-wide comprehensive ground water monitoring plan should be a
living document that requires modification on an annual basis. Recommendations for
changes in the monitoring plan will require the approval of all of the Project
Managers prior to implementation.
If you have any questions, please call Mr. James Taylor at (916)255-3065 or me at
(916)255-3069.
CAMILLA WILLIAMS
Engineering Geologist
CKW:cw
Enclosures
cc: Mr. Michael Work, U.
