Section 66264 . 56, Title 22 , Cal. Code of Regs. <br /> Whenever there is an emergency. . .the emergency <br /> coordinator shall immediately. . .notify the appropriate <br /> state agency. <br /> The Depot Contingency Plan did not have the correct <br /> 24-hour emergency phone number for the Department. <br /> II. Schedule for Compliance: <br /> 1. Additional waste analysis must be completed by the <br /> facility to determine whether or not the contents of <br /> the 2 , 000 gallon storage tank is hazardous. The <br /> analytical results submitted by DDRW to the Department <br /> in the letter dated September 12 , 1992, to <br /> Nancy K. Lancaster, only provides partial <br /> characterization of the wastes stored in the tank. <br /> Please contact Mr. Hugh McGrade at (916) 855-7781 to <br /> discuss additional characterization parameters. <br /> 2 . DDRW has satisfied the Department's requirements for <br /> correction of this violation in that a work order was <br /> issued to seal the cracks in Area 260, by DDRW on <br /> August 20, 1992. The work was completed the following <br /> day, August 21, 1992 . <br /> 3 . DDRW has satisfied the Department's requirements for <br /> correction of this violation in that the correct <br /> emergency phone number was identified by DDRW and <br /> entered into the facility's Contingency Plan. A copy <br /> of the telephone number was faxed to the Department on <br /> August 24, 1992 , by Irene Gill. <br /> In reference to the closure of the nickel cadmium batteries <br /> treatment area, the Department is concerned how DDRW <br /> decontaminated for closure, any structures or equipment used in <br /> this process. Please submit any documentation concerning the <br /> closure of this treatment process to the Department. <br /> When the identified violations are corrected, please send a <br /> written certification which contains the sample certification <br /> statement indicated on the enclosed sheet to this office, <br />
