Defense Depot Tracy -4- 26 July 1989 <br /> requirements of Subchapter 15. The Depot is currently conducting a supplemental <br /> RI/FS study of the entire industrial waste system (point sources, sewer lines, <br /> and the ponds) . Funding ($255,000) was provided on 29 April 1989. The contract <br /> is expected to be awarded by 15 July 1989, and the study is estimated to be <br /> completed by 15 November 1989. <br /> INSPECTION SUMMARY: <br /> The domestic sewage treatment plant is operated and maintained in compliance with <br /> waste discharge requirements. Waste discharge requirements are being updated. <br /> The industrial ponds contain designated levels of contaminants and will require <br /> retrofitting to conform to Subchapter 15 requirements. The Depot is currently <br /> studying the entire industrial waste system. This study will be completed by <br /> 15 November 1989. <br /> JOHN TOMKO, Area'Engineer <br /> JTT:ej <br />
