Review of the files <br /> indicates the following sequence of events concerning the effort to <br /> update the Defense Depot Tracy (DDT) Waste Discharge Requirements: <br /> 5 March 1982 Regional Board receives Report of Waste Discharge and <br /> filing fee of $118 . <br /> 10 March 19.42 Receipt acknowledged. <br /> 12 December 1983 Department of Health Services (DHS) inspection memo <br /> on DDT indicates that Regional Board Area Engineer <br /> estimates the discharge requirements will be <br /> completed in six months. <br /> Interim Upon review of tentative requirements decision was made to <br /> determine whether industrial waste receiving ponds were <br /> hazardous. Adoption of revised requirements was delayed. <br /> 2 April 1984 Regional Board and DHS inspect wastewater facilities and <br /> percolation ponds. <br /> 7 May 1984 DHS determines industrial pond does not require a <br /> hazardous waste facility permit based on results of <br /> analyses of samples taken on 2 April 1984 . <br /> 18 March 1985 Regional Board requests more information from DDT in <br /> order to update requirements. <br /> 29 April 1985 DDT sends some information, but refers to Operational <br /> Plan "on file in your office" for much of it. <br /> 25 June 1985 Regional Board again requests information with <br /> additional items included. <br /> 12 November 1985 DDT wastewater facilities inspected. Jack Haines <br /> requested that industrial waste ponds be permitted <br /> along with the domestic system during an on-site <br /> meeting. <br />
