Figure 6c shows the proposed wastewater treatment plant storage facilities
monitoring well network. The monitoring well network is comprised of proposed
new wells (MBRMW-1, -2, -3 and -4) and an existing well utilized to monitor the
Lathrop Water Recycling Plant No. 1 (KMW-4). We were unable to locate
construction and boring logs for well KMW-7. We proposed to install new well
MBRMW-4 near well KMW-7 to provide groundwater data for this location. Data
from these new and existing wells shall monitor the following groundwater
conditions:
• Up gradient to pond 3MBR and Storage Basin E.
• Down gradient to pond 3MBR and Storage Basin E.
In addition, the reported water level and analytical data from existing wells W-1,
W-2, MW-5, KMW-1 through -3, and KMW-6 shall provide regional information on
groundwater conditions up-and down gradient of pond 3MBR and Storage Basin
E.
Table 4 summarizes construction information and general monitoring objectives
for the wastewater treatment facility monitoring wells. The treatment plant is
located up slope to the Mossdale subarea, and groundwater is found at slightly
greater depth. We therefore plan to construct the monitoring wells in 32 feet
deep boreholes and include a 15-feet screened interval.
Table 4. The
monitoring well network is comprised of proposed new wells (RMW-4 and -5) and
existing wells (RMW-1, RMW-2, and RMW-3). Data from these new and existing
wells shall monitor the following groundwater conditions:
• Up gradient to Land Application Area 1 and Storage Pond D.
• Beneath and down gradient of Land Application Area 1 and Storage Pond D.
- 10-
