Note that WDR Provision G.12 addresses inflow of relatively
contaminant free water related to compliance with the Order. Please operate the storage
and disposal of dewatered groundwater in compliance with the existing WDRs. Provision
G.12 states:
The Discharger shall not allow pollutant-free wastewater to be discharged into the
wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal system in amounts that significantly
diminish the system's capability to comply with this Order. Pollutant-free wastewater
means rainfall, groundwater, cooling waters, and condensates that are essentially free
of pollutants.
• Pond S6 is used for storage of recycled water (downstream of the treatment system) prior
to land application of the water. Pond S6 is described in the WDRs.
• During the months when groundwater dewatering is occurring, or disposal of the
groundwater is occurring, please add a comment to the monthly monitoring report
describing the status of the project, the storage pond, and the application areas used to
dispose of the water.
If you have any questions on this information, please contact me at (916) 464-4732.
i "
e"L/Z', j C.
