The scope of the installation was based on the above-
referenced work plan and addendum, which was approved by the RWQCB on April 3, 2009.
A Master Well Work Plan submitted to RWQCB in June 2007 (Reference 1) was also previously
approved for the property. The purpose of the Master Well Work Plan was to direct monitoring
well installation and destruction activities required for the monitoring network described in the
City's Waste Discharge Requirements and Master Reclamation Permit Order No.R5-2006-0094.
The purpose of the proposed new monitoring well is to replace a well that was damaged during the
construction of Mossdale Landing Community Park and subsequently demolished under RWQCB
approval and under observation of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. The
intent is also to maintain compliance with the City's recycled water system permit with the State
of California Regional Water Quality Control Board.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The former groundwater monitoring well was identified as MWM-10. This well was part of a
network of wells installed and maintained throughout the City of Lathrop for the purpose of
580 N.Wilma Avenue,Suite A•Ripon,CA 95366•(209)835-0610•Fax(888)279-2698
www.engeo.eom
