Geosyntecr
consultants
0 One equipment blank will be collected during each day of groundwater
sampling. The equipment blanks will be collected by pouring organic-free,
deionized water provided by Curtis & Tompkins over the stainless steel bailer
following decontamination; and
• Trip blanks consisting of organic-free, deionized water will be prepared by the
laboratory and will accompany the sample containers during transport prior to,
during, and after_sampling. The trip blank sample bottles will not be opened.
All QA/QC samples will be analyzed for toluene by EPA Method 8260B (groundwater
and soil)or TO-15 (soil gas).
7.5 Site Restoration and Investigation-Derived Waste (IDW)
Following CPT, groundwater sampling, and soil/soil gas sampling, borings will be
grouted using the tremmie method from the bottom up. All grouting will be conducted
under the supervision of the County. Ground surfaces will be completed to match
surrounding surfaces (e.g., dirt, asphalt, or concrete).
Soil cuttings, decontamination water, and purge water generated during investigation
activities will be labeled and stored at the Site in Department of Transportation-
approved containers, pending characterization and disposal at an appropriate off-Site
facility.
7.6 Data Evaluation and Reporting
Geosyntec will evaluate the analytical results and review the QA/QC data for
completeness, accuracy, precision, sample contamination, conformance with holding
times, and appropriateness of detection limits. Following the data review, Geosyntec
will compare Site data to LTCP criteria in a report to the RWQCB. Recommendations
for case closure or remedial action will be provided based on the comparison of Site
data to LTCP criteria.
CPT-13 Area Investigation Report and Work Plan 24 30 May 2013
