Geosyntec O <br /> consultants <br /> 2. �DITIONAL SOIL CHARACTERIZATION IN THE CPT-13 AREA <br /> In the Report/Work Plan, the collection of soil and soil gas samples was proposed as <br /> follows: <br /> • Soil samples shall be collected from a depth of five ft bgs prior to installation of <br /> temporary soil gas wells at two locations in the CPT-13 Area, shown in Figure <br /> 2; and <br /> • Soil gas samples shall be collected from a depth of five ft bgs. <br /> In order to improve characterization of the shallow soil prior to.excavation, soil samples <br /> shall also be collected from 10 ft bgs. Soil samples will be collected in triplicate Encore <br /> samplers and analyzed for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by EPA Method 8260 <br /> by Curtis & Tompkins Laboratory.
