Hire Someone Else: If you hire somebody else to transport your used oil, California law requires that the
used oil be transported by a registered hazardous waste transporter using a hazardous waste manifest. In
order to be managed under the less restrictive used oil regulations, the used oil must be transporter to an
authorized recycling facility.
Your Return to Compliance Certifications have been accepted, and all violations have been closed.
Thank you,
Christine Lawrence
From:Vince Furtado<vfurtado@fragservices.com>
Sent: Wednesday,June 26, 2019 4:06 PM
To: Christine Lawrence<clawrence@slgov.org>
Cc: jmsilvall@aol.com
Subject: RE:Your recent routine inspection
Hi Christine,
With regard to R&S Dairy, attached is the signed Return to Compliance Certification Form and the Violation Response
which includes photos. Let me know if you have any questions or the need for further information.
Thanks, Vince Furtado
From: Christine Lawrence [mailto:clawrence@sogov.org]
Sent: Monday,June 24, 2019 10:48 AM
To: imsilvall@aol.com; Vince Furtado<vfurtado@fragservices.com>
Subject: RE:Your recent routine inspection
Good afternoon,
This is a courtesy reminder that your return to compliance certification for your recent Hazardous Materials Business
Plan inspection is due on June 30th, 2019. 1 have verified the corrections to all violations except for#11 for failing to keep
a record of training. Please provide me with paperwork, photos, or a statement of correction for the training record
violation and a signed Return to Compliance Certification found on last page of inspection report.
A training record is a document that shows that an employee was trained the items listed in California HSC
25505 (a)(4). The training records on site need to state the topics covered, date of training, and name of
employees trained. A copy of the training records must be kept on site for a minimum of three years and be
made readily available for review upon request per California HSC §25505(a)(4). Employee training must be
refreshed annually and by the anniversary date. For example, if the employee training was done in May 2018, it
needs to be refreshed by May 2019. New employees must be trained within 6 months of being hired.
The Return to Compliance Certification for the Hazardous Waste portion of the inspection is due July 17th, 2019.
Please note that after 30 days from the date of inspection, or, date the amended report is received, time may be billable
at the current EHD rate ($152/hr).
If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact me at (209) 468-3562.
3
