Additional emergency response equipment is also readily available from <br /> the Livermore Site,including release response equipment, response vehicles and heavy <br /> equipment, site safety equipment,personal protective equipment(PPE), decontamination <br /> equipment, emergency assembly point kits, and Material Safety Data Sheets(MSDSs). <br /> EWTF emergency equipment is described in Table 1-1-3, and Figure I-1-2 shows the location of <br /> emergency equipment associated with the EWTF. <br /> I-1.4.1 Spill Response Equipment <br /> To respond to incidental releases (i.e., small incidents), EWTF personnel have access to the <br /> contents of an emergency spill kit at EWTF. The location of the spill kit is shown in Figure I-1- <br /> 2. The spill kit inventory and its capabilities and limitations are described in Table 1-1-3. <br /> In addition, EWTF personnel have access to a trailer containing bulk emergency release response <br /> equipment. The trailer is maintained at the Building 883 Container Storage Area(CSA). The <br /> equipment serves as a backup for the Fire Department and can be used for large-release <br /> mitigation. The Radioactive and Hazardous Waste Management Facility Representative is <br /> responsible for the response equipment and ensures that it is ready to respond. <br /> 1-1.4.2 Fire Suppression Equipment <br /> Fire extinguishers and hydrants located at the EWTF are described in Table I-1-3. <br /> 1-1.4.3 Safety and Decontamination Equipment <br /> The EWTF emergency eyewash and shower station are described in Table I-1-3. The locations <br /> of the equipment are shown in Figure I-1-2. <br /> I-1.4.4 Communication Equipment <br /> Three telephones are located at the EWTF. The locations are shown in Figure I-1-2.
