INTRODUCTION
At the request of Ms Tina Mayhew of West Clay Properties, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc
' (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 639 West Clay Street, Stockton,
California The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1-Location Map Structures,
well and boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 -Site Plan
The quarterly report is prepared in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services -
' Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites
Background information is summarized in the Quarterly Monitoring Report and Data Summary -
' December 1997 and Quarterly Report- October 1999, both prepared by AGE
' 2.0. PROCEDURES
Eight single-completed and two dual-completed ground water monitoring wells were purged and
'• sampled on 25 January 2000 Field work was performed in accordance with PHS-EHD and
CVRWQCB guidelines for the investigation of UST sites
2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES
' On 25 January 2000, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the-depth to ground water in
twelve wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient were
determined from these data (Table 1) '
After recording water level measurements, each monitoring well was purged of standing water by
' utilizing a down-hole pump Monitoring well MW-6B was purged dry after approximately 11 gallons
of water were removed Approximately 8 to 20 gallons of water were removed from each of the
remaining wells(a minimum of 3 well casing volumes per well) For wells with ground water above
' the screened interval, ground water was purged from near the top of the water column to remove
water trapped within the non-screened interval of the well casings Ground water temperature,pH
and conductivity were measured at regular purge-volume intervals using an ICM or Hydac water
analyzer Field sheets and data are included in Appendix A, Purged water was stored on-site in
labeled, 55-gallon DOT-approved drums 1
1 L
5 } E
1 ~
Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc
