~ 4 <br /> • 26 August 1999 ry <br /> AGE-NC Protect No 99-0580 _ <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> are illustrated on Figure 1, attached <br /> SAMPLE ANALYSES <br /> Soil samples collected from depths of 40 and 45 feet in probing PI were composited for analysis <br /> The composite soil sample and the grab water sample from PI were analyzed for <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) and diesel, (TPH-d) in <br /> accordance with EPA Methods 503018015m, and <br /> • Volatile aromatic compounds (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes, BTEX) in <br /> accordance with EPA Method 8020 <br /> The soil sample collected from a depth of 5 feet bsg in probing P2 was analyzed for <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons multi range in accordance with EPA Method 8015m, <br /> • Volatile aromatic compounds (BTEX) in accordance with EPA Method 8020, and <br /> • • Volatile organics in accordance with EPA Method 8260 <br /> The soil sample collected from a depth of 10 feet bsg in probing P3 was analyzed for <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons multi range in accordance with EPA Method 8015m <br /> FINDINGS <br /> Organic vapor was not detected with the PID in any of the soil samples collected Faint hydrocarbon <br /> odor was noted in the soil samples collected from depths of 40 and 45 feet bsg in probing P I <br /> TPH-d was detected in the grab water sample collected from PI at a concentration of 1,200 parts per <br /> million (ppm, reported as milligrams per kilogram) Other hydrocarbons or volatile organics were <br /> not detected in the samples analyzed The laboratory report (MAI Sample ID Nos 1'6068-16071) is <br /> attached <br /> SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS <br /> Based upon observations and data collected from the site, AGE concludes the following <br /> (0 TPH-d was detected at a concentration of 1,200 ppb in the grab water sample collected from <br /> Advanced GeoEmironmentai,Inc <br />
