Project No. E6576.001 iional Groundwater Sampling/W. Clover F 22 March 1995
1
They had not changed appreciably since the previous measurement two days earlier. The water
level records are given in Appendix B. The groundwater gradient was calculated and is plotted
on Figure 1. The gradient was found to be .0004 N 17E.
L
ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF DRILL AND MW SAMPLES
The soil samples from the bottom of exploratory boring B-2 and the drilling of MW-4,
the grab water sample from B-3, and the water samples from MW-1 through 4 were analyzed
for Motor Oil (EPA 43550/8015) and BTEX (EPA 48020). As can be seen in the test results
Cgiven in Tables 1 and 2, contamination was not detected. In the water samples from MW-I
through 4, trace amounts of toluene and total xylenes were found in MW-2, 3, and 4. This
may be a result of cross-contamination since the wells were sampled in numerical order. A
re-run of the tests obtained similar results.
TABLE 1 - DRILLING AND SAMPLING RESULTS
Soil Samples: m
/) / 7
Sample Depth Motor Benzene Toluene Ethyl Total
ID (ft.)
