This facility does not have a valid EPA ID number to manage hazardous waste. A hazardous waste <br /> generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without <br /> an EPA ID number. Immediately obtain an EPA ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit <br /> evidence to the EHD by April 28, 2013. A form has been provided. <br /> 108. Metal fines generated from sharpening landscaping equipment blades are being recycled as scrap <br /> metal without first determining particle size or hazardous properties. Any person who generates a waste <br /> shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop recycling metal fines, make a <br /> hazardous waste determination for the metal fines, and manage it according to Title 22 hazardous waste <br /> regulations. Particles 100 microns or smaller must be handled as hazardous waste if the metal is <br /> determined to be a hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how <br /> this waste was managed by April 28, 2013- <br /> 122 & 125. Copies of hazardous waste disposal records since this business took over on January 1, <br /> 2012 were not found on site. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off <br /> by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three <br /> years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts <br /> since January 1, 2012, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by April 28, 2013. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> Inspector: Received B Title.CIA— <br /> A�6 <br /> EHD 22-02 Rev 04/19/12 Page 4 HW INSPECTION REPORT <br />
