The disposal records for spent lead acid batteries since this business took over on January 1, 2012 <br /> were not found on site. The generator shall retain, at the generator's place of business for at least three <br /> years, a legible copy of each manifest or bill of lading which identifies spent lead-acid storage batteries <br /> shipped to a person who stores the batteries or who uses, reuses, recycles or reclaims the batteries or <br /> their components. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests or bills of lading for spent lead acid <br /> batteries since this business took over on January 1, 2012, maintain them on site, and submit copies to <br /> the EHD by April 28, 2013. <br /> 128. Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters since this business took over on January 1, 2012, <br /> were not found on site. A copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. <br /> Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters since this business took over on January <br /> 1, 2012, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by April 28, 2013. <br /> 305. The secondary containment spill control equipment pallet of the hazardous waste storage area in <br /> the maintenance shop had spilled oil in it. All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection <br /> equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and <br /> maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Correct immediately by <br /> removing the liquid, make a Title 22 hazardous waste determination, and manage according to Title 22 <br /> hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this <br /> waste was managed by April 28, 2013. <br /> 611. The five gallon bucket of used fuel filters had an accumulation start date of April 4, 2008. Facilities <br /> that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Immediately <br /> recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD by April 28, <br /> 2013. <br /> 701. The five gallon bucket of hazardous waste coolant has an accumulation start date of August 24, <br /> 2004. The five gallon bucket of hazardous waste used oil has an accumulation start date of September <br /> 13, 2012. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed <br /> 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact <br /> a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the <br /> manifest to the EHD by April 28, 2013. <br /> 703. An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is lacking.
