I <br /> understand that the groundwater extraction and treatment system was installed in September 1995, but <br /> due to numerous technical difficulties, has been running continuously only since June of this year. <br /> Treated groundwater is discharged to Trapper Slough under an NPDES permit. The first NPDES <br /> quarterly monitoring report was submitted to the Board on 24 July 1997.
