As we discussed in our recent phone conversation, we have <br /> added surface water sampling to the MRP. You agreed to that and stated you had no <br /> other comments on the draft MRP. <br /> As we stated in our 8 March 1994 letter, since well construction details are unavailable <br /> for monitoring wells M-8, M-9, M-10, 0-1 and 0-2, these wells should not be included <br /> on ground water potentiometric contour maps (your first quarter ground water <br /> monitoring report did not reflect this). Also, the contour map in first quarter report <br /> should have been more complete. In accordance with the MRP, your next quarterly <br /> . monitoring report is due by 30 July 1994. <br /> We understand from recent phone conversations with you that you have not reached <br /> agreement with Mr. Coleman Foley or Lower Jones Company to gain access to those <br /> properties to conduct cleanup activities. This has been a problem for more than four <br /> years and has delayed cleanup during that time. These access issues must be resolved <br /> soon.
