Wendy L. Cohen -3- 4 January 1994
20 June 1989- Another letter from SPPL to RWQCB notes that sampling of Trapper Slough has
been done and that negotiations with the new land owner are still underway.
1993- Semi-Annual Groundwater Monitoring Reports prepared by Terra Services submitted to the
Board by SFPP. Reports show that water level and free product gauging and well sampling has
occurred twice in 1992 and twice in 1993. The latest report (October 1993) shows free product is
now showing up in the farthest downgradient wells (N8 and N16). The plume has moved farther to
the southeast, and an upgradient well (N-15) now also has free product which means that dispersion
of the plume is occurring northward towards Trapper Slough.
SUMMARY
1) Well construction information is missing for wells M8-M10, 01 and 02.
2) No interim remediation is taking place although free product is consistently measured in
several wells.
3) The lateral extent of ground water contamination is now undefined again due to the long wait
in remediation efforts.
JMW:Idj
