0 <br /> CHRONOLOGY <br /> 10848 COPPEROPOLIS, STOCKTON <br /> March 5, 1993 <br /> Two leaded gasoline USTs were removed under PHS/EHD permit and observation from the <br /> above referenced site. Laboratory results from soil samples collected beneath the USTs at a <br /> depth of 7.5 feet below grade evidenced contamination. <br /> March 7, 1994 <br /> PHS/EHD sent a letter notifying the owner/operator of the USTs that corrective action was <br /> necessary at this site. <br /> August 24, 1995 <br /> The site was placed in the Local Oversight Program (LOP). <br /> October 11, 1995 <br /> A Notice of Reimbursement letter was sent to the property owner, Stockton Mortgage, stating the <br /> site was in the LOP and a Work Plan for Preliminary Site Assessment prepared by Upgradient <br /> Environmental was approved by PHS/EHD. <br /> October 31, 1995 <br /> Overexcavation of contaminated soils occurred in the location of the former USTs to a depth of <br /> 1 I feet below grade and a soil sample was collected at D feet below grade. Soil sample <br /> analytical results from this area evidenced increased levels of petroleum contamination. <br /> January 22, 1996 <br /> Steve Sasson, EHD, spoke to various representatives and responsible parties regarding <br /> application to the UST Cleanup Fund. <br /> February 23, 1996 <br /> PHS/EHD letter directing Wisecarver to perform further investigative work by March 15, 1996. <br /> May 2, 1996 <br /> State Water Resources Control Board Cleanup Fund (SWRCB)sent Janet Wisecarver a letter <br /> requesting tax forms and other information needed in order for her to qualify for Cleanup funds <br /> for the site. <br /> March 31, 1997 <br /> Janet Wisecarver was notified by the SWRCB Cleanup Fund that her claim was disapproved <br /> because the requested tax information had not been submitted. <br /> June 17, 1998 <br /> A Notice of Responsibility letter was sent to the Poelstra Family Trust and Jee Family Trust in <br /> care of Stockton Mortgage. A Notice of Responsibility sent to Janet Wisecarver was returned. <br /> June 26, 1998 <br /> A Notice of Responsibility was sent to Janet Wisecarver. <br />
