These <br /> inspections were performed on December 2, 1982 by Randy Marcus of the <br /> U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region IX, San Francisco and <br /> Edgar H. Refsell of the Hazardous Waste Management Branch, and on <br /> April 21, 22, 1983 by Edgar H. Refsell. <br /> Pursuant to Section 66328(c) , California Administrative Code, you are <br /> hereby notified of the following conditions observed during the inspection <br />' which are alleged to be violations of the California Hazardous Waste <br /> Control Act (California Health and Safety Code, Division 20, Chapter 6.5) <br /> and California Hazardous Waste Control Regulations (California Adminis- <br /> trative Code, Title 22, Division 4, Chapter 30) , the conditions of your <br /> Interim Status Document and the Code of Federal Regulations (4D CFR Part. 265) , <br /> „ <br /> i. raciiiiy ,lsposes :f haZar-�lc..us wastes from the firing tables <br /> which are not completely identified as required in Section I, <br /> 4,(a) of the Interim Status Document and the Code of Federal <br /> Regulations 40 CFR 265.13. The facility analyses such wastes <br /> for degraded forms of radiation emitting compounds but does <br /> not analyze wastes for heavy metals or organic forms of <br /> degradation products for organic types of explosives tested or <br /> burned. Facility has agreed to sample and test for these <br /> constituents. <br /> 2. There are no warning signs in the hazardous waste drum storage <br /> area and there are no warning signs in Spanish in the landfill <br /> disposal sites ill & 7 as required in Sections II,l,(c) ; - <br /> II, 21 & III, 4, (c) of the ISD and 40 CFR 265.14(c). <br />
