MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM FOR -4- <br /> CITY OF TRACY <br /> CLASS II LAND TREATMENT FACILITY <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> MONITORING PARAMETERS FOR TREATED SOIL (continued) <br /> 3 Representative composite samples prepared by: <br /> TPH as gasoline - EPA Method 5030 <br /> TPH as diesel - EPA Method 3550 <br /> and analyzed by GC/FID. Analytical detection limits shall be as close to 1.0 mg/kg as <br /> practicable. Total Recoverable Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TRPH) shall be analyzed by <br /> EPA Method 8020. Analytical detection limits shall be as close to EPA Method <br /> Detection Limits as practicable. <br /> Representative grab samples analyzed by EPA Method 8020. Analytical detection limits <br /> shall be as close to EPA Method Detection Limits as practicable. <br /> ' Includes fuel additives or other known or suspected site contaminants. Appropriate EPA <br /> analytical methods shall be used, with prior approval from the Regional Board. For total <br /> oil and grease, USEPA Method 5520 E/F shall be used. <br /> Documentation of the non-hazardous nature of each lot of untreated soil shall be included in <br /> quarterly reports to the Board. Hazardous characteristics shall be determined by criteria contained <br /> in Title 22, CCR, Division 4, Chapter 30, Article 11. <br /> BACKGROUND SOIL MONITORING <br /> The Discharger shall collect a representative composite sample of background soil from each site, <br /> with the exception of classified landfills, where treated soil will be disposed of off-site and shall <br /> report to the Board quarterly: <br /> MONITORING FOR BACKGROUND SOIL <br /> Report in <br /> Parameter Units of <br /> Location of treated soil disposal <br /> pH of a 1:1 paste of soil and deionized water pH units <br /> Extractable inorganics', including: <br /> Total dissolved solids (TDS) mg/l <br /> Antimony mg/l <br /> Arsenic mg/l <br /> Barium mg/1 <br />
