If, however, the sample analytical results indicate that the IDW is characterized as a hazardous waste, the City of Tracy will develop potential options associated with its transport and disposal to an appropriately licensed facility designed to accept the IDW. Ground Surface Elevation Survey Each groundwater sample location will be marked with a surveyor's stake. Following groundwater sampling, the "x,” "y," and "z" coordinates for the sample location ground surface will be surveyed by a State of California licensed surveyor so that depth-to- groundwater measurements can be converted to approximate groundwater elevations used to assess the general groundwater gradient. The locations will be surveyed relative to a local benchmark or according to current coordinate zones. Groundwater samples will be collected in accordance with the Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP) shown in Appendix A. Laboratory Analyses Soil The undocumented soil stockpiles, base soil beneath the stockpiles, and the background soil samples will be characterized by analyzing for the following: • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs); • Semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs); • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons in the diesel range; • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons in the gasoline range; • Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Total Xylenes; • Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs); • Organochlorine Pesticides (OCPs); • Title 22 (CAM 17) Metals; • Chlorinated Herbicides; and • Organophosphorus Pesticides (OPPs).
