CLOSURE REPORT FOR UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK 671-DIUI ENVIRONMENTAL SAMPLE INFORMATION: SOIL Soil sample collection and handling procedures were in accordance with LLNL Tank Assessments and Guidance Group Procedure 203, Soil Sampling. Soil samples were collected bv: Marion Heaton and Patti Muck on 7/27/94 and Marion Heaton and Dave Castro on 8/23/94 and 8/25/94 Sample analyses requested: From within the excavation (TPH Diesel and BTXE); and from the excavated soil and fill (TPH Diesel EPA Method 8010/8020 (HVOC/AVOCI Metals by STLC and TTLC gross alpha & beta tritium;and Corrosivity, Reactivity, and Ignitability (CRD). Samples collected for disposal options included 1 discrete sample collected for each 25 yards The analytical results summarized below are for the TPH-D and BTXE analyses specified by the closure plan and remedial action agreement Results of analyses in addition to TPH-D and BTXE are available on request Aside from TPH-D and BTXE results none of the analyses showed results indicating a need for additional investigation TPH-D: Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Diesel.
