CLOSURE REPORT FOR <br /> UNDERGROUND DIESEL STORAGE TANK <br /> 834-D1U1 <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> Location of underground storage tank (UST) 834-D1U1 at Lawrence Livermore National <br /> Laboratory(LLNL): southwest of Building 834A <br /> The tank supplied diesel fuel to the Building 834 emergency generator located immediately <br /> north of the tank. <br /> The tank was closed and was replaced by a new aboveground storage tank. <br /> Date the tank was removed from service: 7/21/94. <br /> Date the tank Closure Plan was submitted to San Joaquin County Public Health Services on <br /> 5/17/94. <br /> Tank Volume Dimensions Construction Date of Contents <br /> (gallons) Installation <br /> 1000 5'X 7' Single-walled 1960 Diesel Fuel <br /> Carbon Steel <br /> [X] UST 834-D1U1 approved Closure Plan Application for Underground Tank Closure <br /> Permit enclosed as Appendix A. <br /> TANK/PIPING INFORMATION: <br /> The tank contents were recovered by: Evergreen Environmental Services Date: 7/20/94. <br /> The tank contents were transported by: Evergreen Environmental Services Date: 7/20/94. <br /> The tank contents were disposed of as: Combustible Liquid n.o.s. (diesel fue1L Date: 7/20/94. <br /> Final disposition of the tank's contents: Evergreen Oil,Inc.
