Kloberdanz &Associates on behalf of the above
referenced site and has the following comments for your consideration.
The report documents the over-excavation of contaminated soils from the former
tank pit area that took place on November 17 and 20, 1998. Analytical results of
the soil samples collected from the bottom of the excavation indicate that the bulk
of the contaminated soils have been removed. Analytical results from the
stockpiled soils evidence contamination with total petroleum hydrocarbons as
diesel (TPHd) up to 1700 parts per million.
Review of this case for closure can be made by PHS/EHD after the disposition of
the stockpiles has been documented by the responsible party or their consultant,
and the excavation has been backfilled.
If you have any questions please contact Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS
Director, Environmental Health Division
l.cl%A ck IJ wHca K _-71
1a ..
Lori Duncan, REHS Margaret gorio, RE
Site Mitigation Unit IV Supervisor, Unit IV
cc: Mark List, CVRWQC13
Mike Kloberdanz, Kloberdanz &Associates
A Division of San Joaquin County Hath Cue Services
