CAMBRIA <br /> July 14, 1998 <br /> Mr Michael Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Re Site Investigation Report <br /> Former Shell Service Station <br /> 1267 Country Club Blvd <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> This report was prepared by Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) on behalf <br /> of Equilon Enterprises, LLC (Equilon) to document site investigation activities conducted at <br /> the above referenced site (Plates 1 and 2) The purpose of the investigation was to delineate <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons previously identified in soil and ground water at the subject site The <br /> scope of work followed during this investigation was presented in Enviros, Inc 's (Enviros ) <br /> October 1, 1997 "Site Investigation Work Plan" and Enviros' October 22, 1997 "Site <br /> Investigation Work Plan - Addendum " This work was performed in accordance with San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) and Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (RWQCB) guidelines <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND <br /> The subject property is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Country Club <br /> Boulevard and Pershing Avenue and is presently occupied by a vacant bank building <br /> Oakland CA According to information contained in the "Phase I and H Environmental Site Assessment" <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> Portland dated dated August 1995, prepared by Geosystem Consultants, Inc (GCI), the site was developed in <br /> Seattle WA 1949 as a Shell service station, which operated until 1974 A total of four gasoline <br /> underground storage tanks (USTs) and one waste oil UST were operated as part of the service <br /> Cambria station The approximate locations of these tanks are shown on Plate 2 <br /> Environmental <br /> Technology, Inc <br /> �70 Perkins Street <br /> 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel (707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
