p <br /> : Pv <br /> r+ <br /> Introduction <br /> 1.1 Site Location <br /> BP site #11192 is located at 1403 Country Club Boldevard �-u Stockton, California (Figures 1 <br /> & 2)• This is situated in Section 4,TIN,R6E(Mt. Diablo Baseline and Meridian). This site <br /> is in the southeast portion of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta in San Joaquin County, <br /> �..a California. The area surrounding the site is mainly residential with eight schools Iocated <br /> within a one mile radius. The nearest surface water is Yosemite Lake, approximately 1300 <br /> feet to the east-southeast of the site. <br /> 1.2 Site History <br /> BP Station No. 11192 was built in 1976 and operated by Mobil Oil Company until it;:gas <br /> purchased by BP Oil in May 1989. A soil gas survey was conducted at the Station in March <br /> 1989 by Target Enviro:unental Services,Inc. (for Mobil Oil Company) in order to facilitate <br /> 77 the property sale. Results of this survey revealed moderateiv high concentrations of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons southeast of the pump islands and along the eastern property <br /> r, <br /> boundary. <br /> In July 1989,BP Oil filed an unauthorized release form with San Joaquin County based on <br /> results of the soil gas study. <br /> 3 IT Corporation was contracted in October I989 to generate and execute a work plan for initial <br /> - site assessment. The work plan was filed with San Joaquin County Public Health Services in <br /> March 1990. Upon approval of the work plan in April,four monitoring wells were installed <br /> �- on sits by representatives of IT Corporation. Analysis of soil and groundwater revealed the <br /> presence of petroleum hydrocarbons. <br /> In January 1991,the station closed for renovation. The tanks and dispenser is were <br /> removed in February: A well (MW-2) was abandoned during construction efforts so that the <br /> new tanks could be installed in that location. <br /> M7110-21-9 t/tISTM14NI1_R I <br />
